Introduction of Bsc agriculture: BSc agriculture is an undergraduate course that is concerned with the cultivation, processing, and marketing of crops & livestock.  It deals with the study of Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Science, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Food Microbiology, etc. It focuses on the innovative use of technologies for higher productivity and the optimal use of natural resources.  Duration and Eligibility criteria: The minimum time duration for this course is 4 years(8 semesters). A candidate should achieve a minimum count of at least 50% of the general category. Whereas students belong to scheduled cast/tribes is required with 45% of marks with the compulsory subjects i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Math, and English of 10+2 pattern is eligible to take admissions in 1st semester of agricultural science.
