Basic Introduction about BSc(Hons) in Forensic Science


BSc in Forensic Sciences is a 4- year graduate course that provides the application of scientific knowledge to the investigation of crimes. Forensic Sciences includes essential components such as Forensic Pathology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Forensic Medicine and Odontology (Dentistry). It is chiefly laboratory-based science consisting of related elements of Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Ballistics, the Science of Fingerprinting, Questioned Documents and Impressions.

Eligibility for BSc(Hons) in Forensic Science


As forensic science course includes a 4 years duration of a total of 8 semesters. Students must have completed his/her studies in science i.e. both medical and non-medical (10+2) students can apply only. A minimum of 50% of the marks are valid for general category students and 45% for the candidates belongs to scheduled caste and tribes are eligible.
